One of the flagship events of the 12th edition of Krakow Photomonth will once again be the Portfolio Review! This year’s Review provides an excellent opportunity to get all-important advice and tips from group of experts from Poland and abroad. At these meetings you can make contacts and work with professionals whose experience, advice and opinions have often resulted in development in the photography of Review participants. At the Portfolio Review you can also exhibit your work to a wider audience.
The 9th Portfolio Review takes place on 24 May at 11 am–5.30 pm at Centrum Biurowe Lubicz, at ul. Lubicz 23 in Krakow.
This year, by registering in the Portfolio Review, you also have the chance to take part in a competition for the best portfolio. The winner will have two copies of a folder of their works produced, one of which will be purchased for the Griffin Art Space collection.
The exhibition of the best works with participants and reviewers of the 9th Portfolio Review will start on 24 May at 6 pm, at ul. Lubicz 23 in Krakow. We invite all who would like to meet participants of the 9th Portfolio Review, see their work and talk over with a glass of wine.

After consulting with the reviewers, the organisers will select from those participants who chose to enter the Griffin Art Space competition a shortlist of artists whose works will be showcased to a wider audience during a special event: the best portfolios exhibition, to take place at Griffin Art Space.
The shortlisted works will be on display at ul. Lubicz 23 in Krakow until the end of the festival.
GRIFFIN ART SPACE PRIZE
The competition winner is to be selected by representatives of the Foundation for Visual Arts and Griffin Art Space from the photographers whose works will be presented during the final exhibition. The winner will have two copies of a folder with their best portfolio produced, one of which will be theirs to keep, and the other purchased from the artist at market value for the Griffin Art Space art collection. The organiser will fund work on the folder design with a graphics studio. The form of the publication (size of photos, production technique, binding, circulation) will be decided on the basis of discussions between Foundation for Visual Arts experts and the artist.
